Messy grounds? Static cling? This is the simple fix.

This compact RDT spray bottle is made for the Ross Droplet Technique (RDT) — a quick mist of water on your beans before grinding to help neutralise static. The result is a cleaner workflow, less coffee dust on your bench, and more consistent dosing (especially in dry weather).

Why use RDT?

  • Less static + less mess (grounds stop clinging to the chute/cup)
  • Lower retention and cleaner transfers into your dosing cup or portafilter
  • Improved consistency for single-dosing routines

RDT method:

  1. Add your dose of beans to a dosing cup.
  2. Spritz once for most 18–22g doses. If it’s very dry, try two light spritzes.
  3. Swirl/shake briefly to distribute the mist, then grind as normal.

Note: You’re aiming for a barely-there mist — not “wet beans”. If you can see droplets sitting on the surface, dial it back.

We recommend using filtered water and keep the bottle capped between uses.
