Love my DF54 Grinder. It took a few attempts to find my best setting for my Espresso machine but now this is dialled in, it's amazing coffee everytime thanks to this quick and quiet Grinder. Love, love, love this

Took a while to get the grind right for my Lelete coffee machine, and the plate grinder produces a more balanced cup than the previous burr grinder. Also the crema is better developed with less coffee bitternes.

Makes a big difference in reducing static

cant complain its exactly what i expected with better results than i imagined!

I upgraded from a built in Delonghi La Specialista grinder to the DF54 and immediately noticed a difference in my flat whites. The grinder is nice and heavy which makes it feel sturdy. It’s also really quiet while running. Very happy with the purchase.

I'm getting crema rich espresso out of a very average machine, so very happy. It's nice and quiet and produces what looks like a fluffy and consistent grind. It takes a while to grind 18g and the workflow is slower than my old hopper grinder if speed is important to you

Grinds as expected - wee bit of a strange rubbing sound when the burrs are slowing down, but seems a good solid machine.

I was having a lot of trouble with static, it was suggested swapping the original plastic dosing cup would help alleviate this, which it has.

I am obtaining a ar more consistent grind from these burrs over the original.

This grinder is great. It’s my first and there is very little retention of coffee grounds. It’s supposed to grow with you. It took me a few grinds to get the number on the dial right.

Very well built, quiet, infinitely adjustable grinding with zero retention. My espresso has improved in clarity and balance. Not messy, no jamming. Very happy customer here!

Chute works - no complaints. But I wish they'd included replacement crimp connectors, since you can't reuse the old ones and you need a couple to install the new chute.

Thanks for the feedback, you’re absolutely right that replacement crimp connectors are needed when installing the chute. We’ve now updated the replacement chute kit to include two new crimp connectors as standard.

It’s a fantastic grinder for home coffee - very straightforward to setup and simple to use. It’s very efficient and really quiet. The flat burrs provide a rather different flavour profile to our previous conical burr grinders. It takes some getting used to and some experimenting with different blends, but we’re getting there. All in all, a fantastic grinder at a great price. Super quick service from Grind Logic too. Thanks!

The upgraded chute modification is a noticeable improvement. I see now why it’s recommended. With a bit of care it’s an easy DIY project.

Much quieter than I expected, a bit more residue than I expected but very understandable. Very very nice grinder. I don't see myself outgrowing the capability of the DF 54.

Very good,shipping was slower than I expected,I realised I should have paid extra to get it quicker,one thing I feel I should mention,with a lever machine you have to grind finer way finer than a pump machine could handle,therefore the setting will be at zero or there abouts depending on where your true zero is,having to go to such a fine adjustment might concern some people,maybe machine compatability or something similar should be discussed,and the production of less fines compared to a conical burr,therefore grinding finer with the df54 is the only way to match this(along with more coffee in the puck)I think.

Thanks for your patience with delivery, Ian. We ship from Adelaide, and standard delivery with Australia Post to New Zealand generally takes around 5 to 7 business days after dispatch.

Thanks also for sharing your experience with your lever machine. The grind setting required can vary considerably with the machine, basket, dose and beans. The DF54’s printed “0” doesn’t necessarily correspond to its true zero point, where the burrs begin to touch, so a low dial number alone isn’t necessarily a concern.

Grinder arrived OK, but surprised it wasn't wrapped at all, since it was delivered and spent the day in the apartment foyer and everyone could see what was in the box.

Purchasing process went smoothly. Delivery was organized well. Very happy with the process.

Very happy with the grinder. Looks great, small footprint, sturdy, heavy, easy to maintain and plenty of adjustment options to fine tune. Retention is very minimal, personally I don't have any issues with the static and live in dry Perth.
Extremely happy with the customer service too. Aaron went above and beyond, sending me the larger chute right after I received the grinder. While I had to drip feed with the original one, I haven't had absolutely any issues with clogging since then, even when dumping in above average amount of beans.
Would definitely buy it again and will use Grind Logic in the future.

I bought a DF64 Gen2 from Grind Logic. After a few weeks there were complications with the grinder, so I got in touch with Aaron. He was great, sorted a replacement (and returning the faulty one) fast and efficiently. Great service, personal, over the phone, highly recommend.
