This internal replacement ion generator is available in model-specific versions for the DF54 and DF64 Gen 2. It forms part of the grinder’s plasma ionisation system, helping to reduce static as coffee grounds pass through the exit chute.
Suitable for replacing a failed ion generator where the grinder’s static-reduction system is no longer functioning correctly. For more information on grinder static and how plasma ionisation helps reduce it, see our guide to reducing static when grinding coffee.
Compatibility:
Please select the correct version for your grinder when ordering. The DF54 and DF64 Gen 2 ion generators use different wiring configurations and are supplied as model-specific replacement parts.

Installation note: This is an internal service component and requires access to the grinder’s internal wiring for installation. Disconnect the grinder from mains power before opening or servicing the grinder. If you are not confident carrying out the installation, we recommend having the part fitted by a suitably experienced technician.
